Stadium: The Tallahassee Soccer Club Battle Lions play their home games at Gene Cox Stadium located at the North Florida Fairgrounds Property at 601 Paul Russell Road. Get Directions Here.
Food: There are multiple food trucks at every home game serving food during the game. There are also snacks and water also available in the concessions stand.
No Alcohol: there is no alcohol permitted inside the stadium
Entry: gates open an hour prior to kick off.
Restrooms: Plenty of restrooms located just inside the entry gate, behind the main bleachers. There is a changing table in the women’s restroom.
Weather: it is very warm in Tallahassee during the summer. Luckily, the sun sets behind the fan bleachers at Gene Cox Stadium, cooling it down enough to enjoy the show on the field.
Rain: the summer is full of afternoon rain showers. The turf field allows us some flexibility to play more often than not. Really, only lightning will force us to postpone the game. Monitor our social media for updates.
Security: while we have never had an incident, there are security guards stationed at every home game.
Smoke & Drums: game day is not complete without the full experience from our supporters group, Olde Fields Battalion. They lead the fans in chants and cheers accompanied by drums and more. They are also quick to light up the gold smoke following goals.
The safety of our players, fans and volunteers is our top priority. Read about our Fan Code of Conduct Policy here.
